Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In light of the current climate around the world with the coronovirus and the fear-mongering by the news outlets in order to generate revenue, it is time that we come to the realization that God is still in control.
It is easy to get caught up in the fear and uncertainty. The thing that is certain is that God is still in control.
We need to be supportive of our family members and neighbors as they are dealing with this fear. It is in times of crisis where the church is able to minister to those who are broken.
It is time for the church to be The Church.
If we are people of the name of Jesus then we need to demonstrate the power and authority in that name!
We need to pray for our families and friends, as well as the world in which we live.
Let's be the church.
God bless,
Bishop Fessenden
