Knowing what is in the Bible for ourselves helps us when we are hearing the word of God and making sure that it is the truth and not false doctrine. But, learning from the Bible also gives us correction or convictions. And it is our duty as Christians to see it as a chance to change and get closer to God and not be bitter from it.
